Day 4: today I decided to take a nice long walk with the dogs in nearby freedom park. Apparently I walked far enough to bump into candler golf course.
It is absolutely insane to me that the grass should be green and the trees flowering at the beginning of MARCH! Don’t they know they have to wait until at least May to be this beautiful?
Day 3: 15 minutes until the truck is here.
Everyone will be excited to see the couch.
Day 2:
Ikea day- rick had never been to an ikea before and subsequently was overwhelmed by the variety and options to fill the existing houseware holes in our new apt. after about 4 hours a good plate of Swedish meatballs and hazelnut cake and $500 we came away with a new tv/ bookshelf, drawers for the kitchen (why the left drawers out of the recent remodel I have no idea) and some storage for the bathroom.
So now we have some furniture just need the truck to get here!
Day 1 in GA:
Since our truck full of stuff isn’t arriving until Monday why NOT go to the beer bourbon BBQ festival in atlantic station?
Man, delicious brisket sandwich & and gooey cheese fries? I say yes! Discovery of a new and delicious beer- Monday night brewing? Yes!!
